Anyone can pick up a microphone and make an announcement.

For me, hosting is about knowing the people in the room, understanding the atmosphere and bringing everyone together.

Some couples want big entrances, plenty of laughs and a room full of energy. Others prefer things a little more relaxed.

That's why I take the time to get to know you, understand your plans and bring the right personality to the right moments.

Nothing forced. Nothing scripted just for the sake of it. Just me, being me, and making sure your day feels like yours.

    We'll spend time getting to know each other, talking through your plans, wedding timings, introductions, speeches and anything else that matters to you.

    I include a minimum of two planning meetings once booked, with the option to have a chat before booking too.

    It's about understanding the kind of day you want and how I can help make it happen.

Everyone's together, the formalities are underway and there's an opportunity to bring a little extra personality to the celebration.

From introducing the newlyweds and hosting speeches to getting guests involved between courses, I love creating moments that get people laughing, cheering and enjoying themselves.

From welcoming your first guests and looking after the ceremony music to hosting your wedding breakfast and introducing your first dance.

One familiar face looking after the important moments, with plenty of personality along the way.

  • Grand entrance and introductions
  • Wedding breakfast hosting

FIRST DANCE

  • Coordination with the evening DJ or band ahead of the first dance

  • A smooth handover to the evening entertainment

I host and introduce your first dance. Your evening DJ or band provides and plays the music. Evening DJ services are not included.

QUESTIONS

Good to know.

Can we meet before booking?

Absolutely, and I'd encourage it. You're trusting me with some big moments, so it's important we get along.

I'm happy to arrange a chat or video call before you decide. Once you've booked, I include a minimum of two planning meetings.

What's the difference between Dinner Host and Ceremony to First Dance?

Dinner Host covers your wedding breakfast: the grand entrance, introductions, hosting, speeches and guest interaction between courses.

Ceremony to First Dance includes all of that, plus arriving around 90 minutes before your ceremony, welcoming guests, ceremony music, drinks reception support and hosting your first dance introduction. Your evening DJ or band provides the first dance music.

Can you help with an outdoor ceremony?

Of course. With Ceremony to First Dance, we'll talk through where the ceremony is taking place, access to power and how everything will work with your venue, including a backup plan for the British weather.

Any additional sound equipment requirements will be confirmed during planning.

Do you provide ceremony music?

Ceremony music preparation and playback is included in Ceremony to First Dance. We'll choose your music together and I'll coordinate with your venue and ceremony team.

Can you help organise speeches?

Yes. Speech introductions and coordination are included in both packages. We'll agree the running order and timings during planning, so everyone knows when they're on.

Do we have to include games or entertainment?

Not at all. Entertainment between courses is optional. Some couples love it, others prefer something more relaxed. We'll find what works for you and your guests.

Will you work with our venue and photographer?

Yes. I'll work alongside your venue team throughout, and during the drinks reception I can help guide guests and assist with photographs where needed.

Can we customise the hosting to suit our wedding?

That's the whole point of the planning meetings. We'll talk through your timings, introductions, speeches and the moments that matter to you, so the hosting feels like your day, not a template.
