WEDDING DJ
Good music. Proper mixing. Great nights.
Your favourite music is just the starting point.
From that first song after your first dance to the final track of the night, I'll bring proper mixing, plenty of musical variety and the ability to read the room.
No endless microphone chatter. Just great music and a dancefloor that feels like your people.
MY APPROACH
More than a playlist.
There's a big difference between playing great songs and knowing how to put them together.
For me, DJing is about proper mixing, finding the right tracks and knowing when to take the music in a different direction. I love moving between genres, decades and styles, bringing different generations together without losing the energy on the dancefloor.
Your favourite music is always the starting point. We'll talk about the songs you love, the ones you don't and the kind of atmosphere you want to create.
And when the party starts? I'll be watching the room, adapting throughout the night and letting the music do the talking.

YOUR MUSIC, YOUR MOMENTS
Must-plays, do-not-plays and the big moments.
Before the wedding we'll talk through your favourite artists, the songs you love and the ones you'd rather never hear.
We'll plan your evening introductions and first dance together, so that moment lands exactly how you want it, then I'll take it straight into the party.

PROFESSIONAL SOUND & LIGHTING
The music matters. So does the presentation.
Great sound, carefully positioned lighting and a clean, professional setup that looks right at home in your wedding venue.
It’s not just about how everything sounds. It’s about how it looks, too.

WORKING WITH LIVE BANDS
Booked a band too? Brilliant.
I regularly work alongside wedding bands, providing DJ entertainment between their sets, after their performance, or both.
I’ll chat with your band beforehand about timings, music and technical arrangements, so we can work together to keep the evening running smoothly.
You get the best of both worlds. The energy of a live band and a proper DJ keeping the party going.
DJ Live Entertainment
DJ & sax.
A little something extra.
Love the idea of a live saxophonist joining the party?
Combine my DJ sets with the energy of live sax, bringing another dimension to your favourite tracks and creating some brilliant moments on the dancefloor.
And if you’ve got something bigger in mind, we can explore vocals, bongos, percussion and electric violin too.
An optional addition to the Wedding DJ service. Live performers are subject to availability and separate quotation.

QUESTIONS
Good to know.
Can we choose our own music?
Absolutely! It's your wedding, and your music should reflect that.
We'll talk about your favourite artists, genres, must-play tracks and, just as importantly, your do-not-play list.
I love having the freedom to read the room and mix different styles together, but your preferences will always be at the heart of the evening.
And don't worry, I'm not going to play the Macarena just because somebody's uncle asks for it.
Do you take requests on the night?
Of course! I'm always happy to hear what your guests would love to dance to.
But there's a bit of an art to knowing when a request will work.
I'll take requests into consideration, keeping your music preferences, do-not-play list and the atmosphere on the dancefloor in mind.
So while I can't promise to play every request, I'll always do my best to make sure there's something for everyone.
Do you provide sound and lighting equipment?
Absolutely! I'll bring professional DJ equipment, sound and dancefloor lighting as part of your wedding DJ package.
Every venue is different, so we'll discuss the room, guest numbers and your plans beforehand to make sure the setup is suitable.
I also take pride in how everything looks. A clean, professional setup that complements your venue is just as important to me as how it sounds.
If you're planning something bigger, we can also explore enhanced sound, lighting and bespoke event production.
What time will you arrive to set up?
That depends on your venue and how your wedding day is planned.
I'll arrange my arrival and setup time with you and your venue in advance, making sure there's enough time to prepare everything properly.
Where possible, I'll plan the setup around your wedding breakfast and the room arrangements to keep disruption to a minimum.
Everything will be ready and sound checked before the evening entertainment begins.
Can you DJ alongside a live band?
Absolutely! I regularly work alongside wedding bands and live musicians.
Whether you need a DJ between the band's sets, someone to take over after their final performance or a combination of both, I'm more than happy to help.
I'll discuss timings, equipment and any technical requirements with the band beforehand so we can make the transitions as smooth as possible.
Two great forms of entertainment, one brilliant evening.
Do you use the microphone throughout the evening?
Not at all!
I'll happily introduce your first dance, make important announcements and use the microphone when the moment calls for it.
But I'm not the DJ who's going to spend the entire evening talking over the music or interrupting every other song.
Once the dancefloor gets going, I prefer to let the music do the talking.
Can we meet before booking?
Absolutely! In fact, I'd encourage it.
Choosing your wedding DJ is an important decision. You'll be trusting me with the music for one of the biggest celebrations of your life, so it's important that we're a good fit.
I'm always happy to arrange a chat or video call before you book. No pressure, just an opportunity to talk music, discuss your plans and get to know each other.
Once booked, we'll also have a minimum of two planning meetings to make sure everything is ready for the big day.
Can we add live musicians?
Absolutely! If you fancy bringing something extra to your evening, we can explore live sax, vocals, bongos, percussion or electric violin alongside my DJ sets.
Whether you'd like a saxophonist joining the dancefloor or a combination of live performers, we can discuss the possibilities and find something that suits your celebration.
Live musicians are optional extras, subject to availability and separate quotation.
Can we extend the party beyond midnight?
Absolutely, although I always recommend a midnight finish for weddings.
There's something brilliant about bringing everyone together for one final song, with the newlyweds right in the middle of it all. It's the perfect way to finish the celebrations on a high.
However, if you'd prefer an afterparty feel beyond midnight, extended DJ entertainment may be available for £100 per additional hour, subject to venue restrictions and availability.
Just ask, and we can chat through the options!
How do we secure our wedding date?
Once we've had a chat and you're happy to go ahead, I'll send over everything you need to confirm your booking.
Your date is secured once your booking fee has been paid and your booking agreement completed.
The remaining balance is due 14 days before your wedding, with all payment details clearly outlined in your agreement.
Once that's sorted, we can get on with planning the good stuff!
Do you travel outside Lancashire?
Absolutely! I'm based in Lancashire, but I travel across the North West and throughout the UK for weddings.
Whether your venue is just down the road or several hours away, I'm always happy to discuss your plans.
For weddings further afield, additional travel or accommodation costs may apply. Any such costs will be discussed and included in your quotation before you book.
Distance certainly doesn't have to be a dealbreaker!
