Now that we’re back from our honeymoon we wanted to send you this email. I’m sorry in advance for how long it is but I could write all day to be honest. Where do we even start?! Thank you doesn’t feel anywhere near enough for what you did for us.

From the moment we first met you, we knew we were in safe hands. Across our three meetings — two in person and one on Zoom — you brought so much reassurance, humour, and care that by the time the wedding came around, I felt calm just knowing you would be there. On the day itself, you were so much more than a host or a DJ — you were the person who pulled everything together and gave the day its energy, its flow, and its magic.

Every single guest has told us how phenomenal you were, and I can only echo that a hundred times over. You weren’t just a vendor at our wedding;  you were part of it with us. You fitted in so perfectly, as if you were one of our friends who just happened to be hosting and DJing. You’re normal, chatty, cheeky, and down-to-earth, but at the same time professional, charismatic, thoughtful, and meticulous. That mix is so rare, and it’s exactly what makes you so special. You have this incredible instinct for knowing when to step in. You checked in at exactly the right moments, but you also quietly handled things behind the scenes without ever asking anything from us. You made everything flow seamlessly, so much so that I didn’t even have to think about what was happening next. I trusted you completely, and that trust let me enjoy the day in a way I never thought possible.

There are so many personal touches that meant the world to us — the way you got emotional when you saw me walk down the aisle, the way you stayed afterwards for a drink with us, the way you clicked with us on such a personal level. Those are things you simply can’t fake, and they’re the reason it felt like you were a friend first and a DJ/host second.

Jon, I can say this without hesitation: of all the things we booked, of all the money we spent, you were the single most important part of our wedding. If we could only choose one thing to do again, it wouldn’t be the flowers, the venue, or even the dress — it would be you. Without you, the day simply wouldn’t have been the same. You made it what it was.

I will recommend you personally to every single person I know who gets married. YOU specifically. Your personality, your humour, your energy, and your attention to detail transformed everything. You went above and beyond in every sense, and we truly feel like we’ve made a friend for life.

From the bottom of our hearts, thank you. Thank you for giving us not just a wedding day, but the most unforgettable, joyful, seamless celebration of our lives. We adore you, and we always will.
